Now that we know what’s included in the final Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, what do you as life insurance advisors do about it? From a marketing standpoint, how do you use the tax changes to your advantage? In this program, we’ll discuss planning opportunities available following the enactment of the Tax Act. The session will also delve into ideas for income tax savings in light of the tax changes that can be used as the impetus to get you in front of your client. Many provisions in the Tax Act are scheduled to sunset in 8 years, so this is a “use it or lose it” situation. In actuality, the window of opportunity may be even shorter. If control of the White House shifts with the next presidential term, it’s foreseeable that the provisions which were not bipartisan-supported could be repealed and not make it to the sunset date.
